I was hesitant to purchase this shave due to the mixed reviews, but decided to give it a chance for two reasons- first, Panasonic's webpage claims this razor has the sharpest blades (based on a 2004 comparison, I wished it was more recent) and the fact that the replacement blades for my Venus razor seem to get more expensive each time I purchase them. I was also sick of the razor burn on my bikini line, as well as the ingrown hairs. I am very satisfied so far. According to the instructions, the shave should get closer over the first three weeks of use; however, the shave out of the box is a smooth one and I have stopped getting razor burn and ingrown hairs, and the razor is not loud! I am very pleased so far.

I decided to go with this model because of the pivoting head and the bikini attachment. When I was a teenager, my mom bought me a ladies electric shaver. It was nice for using in or out of the shower, but the battery died on it pretty quick. I've realized now that I hate shaving with a razor in the shower. I just have a shower stall, not a bathtub/shower unit, so it's very cramped and uncomfortable. I wanted something I could use in or out of the shower and that would be quick.

The key thing to remember with an electric shaver is it's not going to give you as close of a shave as a razor. If you think it will, you'll be disappointed. With that in mind, I was VERY satisfied with this shaver's performance. I've tried it now both wet and dry. It is quick to use and easy to clean. It didn't cause the shave itch I normally get right out of the shower after I shave my legs. It worked very well for tidying up my nether region. Again, no itch and it was quick. The attachment was very easy to get on and off.

The downsides to the product are: the switches are a little hard to operate in the shower when your hands are wet. If you are using the bikini trimmer attachment in the shower, you need to go a little slow because wet hair tends to clog things. I can't shave my armpits with this. The skin there is too delicate, so I have to stick to a single swipe with a razor there.

I gave this 5 stars because it exceeded my expectations. It's a much closer shave than my old electric shaver and it's quick - much quicker than shaving with a razor. The results were a bit better than how my legs would feel the day after a razor shave. The shaver is very quiet and easy for me to maneuver in my hands, wet or dry.

Tips: Don't press down hard while you shave - go smooth and light over your skin. If you are shaving dry, pull the skin taut above where you are shaving. You get very good, very close and very quick results that way.

This works great! Disposables give me razor burn, but I like the close shave. I tried an epilator and that didn't work too well, it just broke off the hairs. I figured I would just give up and use an electric shaver and get a close enough shave, but this one exceeded my expectations. I also like that there's a nice compact place for it on my electrical outlet.

I tried both wet and dry functions and I think it works better dry. When I dried off, I could still feel hairs so I went over it again and the area became smooth. However, during dry shaving, if I go to fast my skin catches in the razor. There was no bleeding, but it wasn't comfortable.

Then only thing I don't like is that there's no cord attachment. That's probably for safety reasons, but I would like that option when the battery starts to lose it charge.

This is perfect because I don't like shavers that lift and cut off the hair below the skin. Basically you get a close shave enough to not see the hair but there is still hair there. To me that is wonderful because I use it on my face and I don't want my face hair to grow back darker and thicker that is why this shaver is really good.

If you are one that wants a really really close shave, this would not be for you. If you are one that wants a good enough close shave, this is perfect.

It isn't as close as a wet shave but the closest that I've had so far. The battery life is good. (I'm 5'10" and have long legs. It takes me longer than 5-7 min/shave (their suggestion) and the shaver keeps its charge for at least 3 shaves. This is great! Thanks, Panasonic --- keep improving your women's shavers!

My Situation:

I have very sensitive skin and I like a close shave. Razor burn is very common when I use a razor blade however I am fortunate to not have many ingrown hairs. Also, when I use a electric razor I usually use it dry so my review will reflect a dry shave.

My Story:

I came from a remington WDF3500 razor and I liked it but when it was dead one day, I reached for my boyfriends electric razor. WOW! It was such a close shave... Way closer than my remington. It was at that moment I realized that I had to upgrade. I started looking around and after reading the reviews on this razor, I decided to try it. Well I Love it! No razor burn, no irritated skin, and best of all a really close shave. The bikini attachment and the pop up trimmer work great. Clean up is really easy as well. Just a little hand soap directly on the foils, rub it in, and turn the razor on and its clean. Rinse and your done! Clean up takes me about 1 minute. NO EXAGGERATION! The only thing that could have been better (and the main reason I didn't give it 5 stars) is the charging method. It is rechargeable witch is awesome but (and this is kinda hard to explain) the plug is the charger. It is NOT a doc with a cord. Its a cool idea but my setup could have used a doc to charge the razor. All in all this razor is great! If your thinking about upgrading an old razor or looking to start out this is the one for you! It works...sort of. I got this for Christmas and, as a person always looking for something better than a razor and shaving cream, I was really excited.

The shave isn't anywhere near as close as a standard razor, it leaves little stubblies of hair behind, sort of a day after shaving effect. It doesn't cut you, as promised, but that's about the best thing it has going for it. It left my skin really irritated, even with really nice shaving gels, and even after a couple weeks of use.

So, I'm back with my Venus, which is the best razor I've ever found. And the wet dry shaver has joined the corpses of my other 'miracle' hair removal products. It has joined the Nair, the Nads, the Veet and that barbaric little machine that just yanks your hair out by the roots.

If you don't mind a bumpy, stubbly finish, by all means, pick one of these babies up.

I bought this product in the hopes of having to shave less often and for the dual epilator/shaver feature.

Over all I am very pleased. Like other reviewers I think on the legs and armpits it works best in the shower when you are nice and lathered up with soap - the lather helps get rid of the friction as the head moves over the skin and it's a much smoother shave. I found that without lather the movement was somewhat jerky, the head didn't slide over the skin and smoothly and it was more painful.

On the legs and especially the shins, it's still painful although not as painful as another epilator I had tried. It works absolutely great (when lathered up) on the armpits. I did both of them quickly, completely and with very little pain - I think your armpits must be less sensitive.

I did my bikini area - again definately works better and hurts less when your skin is lathered up. I do have to say that this was a definately painful process. While it still works great on this area, I think waxing may stil be best for a couple reasons. 1) Waxing does the whole area in one fell swoop and therefore you are only in pain for a moment as opposed to several minutes with the epilator; because your bikini line is so sensitive, this makes a big difference. 2) It is nearly impossible to epilate a "shape" to your grooming because of the bulkiness of the head. Unless you're removing all hair it would be difficult to do just a certain area. (For this reason I gave four stars not five)

I happend to have a few mutant hairs on my chin that I have to pluck every now and again; just for giggles I tried it on my face (dry). It worked AWESOME. I ran over my chin a only a couple times and it got even the smallest thinest hairs you couldn't really see.

Overall great product but not the best for bikini area.

I have been using a dry epilator for years, and thought I would try this new wet product. I love it now, but it took some getting used to. You have to follow directions and lather up a lot before the epilator starts to work really well. I find that it works better if you use soap or bath gel instead of shaving cream, and also go SLOWLY. I love it though. I find my legs are softer in general then when I used to just use a dry epilator.

The shaving head works fairly well too.

Got this after my other Panasonic epilator retired. It is perfect. The dual heads make a more efficient epilation. I didn't adapt well doing it at the shower, i felt that the foam didn't help and the water actually made the hairs stuck on the skin. Outside however, it is all I've ever asked for. The shaving head has a little grooming comb that works wonders. Overall I'm suggesting this one to all my friends!

- hair removal takes much, much longer than with a simple, one (longer) spinning head epilator - this is due to the short spinning heads.

- hair stuck in the spinning head which is very hard to remove (it's also due to the small head)

- no red dots after wet hair removal

I bought this after much research and suffering. It's good. It's less painful than my sister-in-law's Remington 'yank your hair out' item. lol

I have back problems and do much better leaning back in the bathtub than bending down to epilate or shave. Bubble bath and lilac shave gel makes it more fun. Yanking my hair out does hurt. Less pain each time, though.

Note: yanking out long hair hurts a lot more than short. Really.

I love that the epilator and razor can be used in the tub or shower. It doesn't say it's ok to dunk it. I didn't dunk it. :)

The person who said to use the little epil attachment on your face seems to have been wrong. lol It hurt really bad, removed very little, and made my upper lip really red. Other than that, most of the scary warnings in the instructions are just lawsuit avoidance. :) I suggest you look at other women's pointers for doing this effectively. The 90 degree thing is important. The pressure should be about like shaving with a 1970's women's shaver. If you're too young to remember that, ask your mother. :)

I am as pleased with this as I could be with anything that takes up my time for something so silly in a world that needs peace. Life is good. Light a candle. Pray for peace.

A new study claims that women who regularly walk at a brisk pace can significantly reduce their risk of suffering a stroke.

According to researchers, women who indulge in a fast paced walk for two or more hours weekly have a lower risk of any type of stroke whether clot-related (ischaemic) or bleed related (haemorrhagic) as opposed to those who have a sedentary lifestyle.

"Physical activity is essential to promoting cardiovascular health and reducing risk of cardiovascular disease, and walking is one way of achieving physical activity."

The researchers found that in the follow-up period of 12 years 579 women suffered a stroke.

The important aspect highlighted was that women with an active lifestyle were 17 percent less likely to suffer any type of stroke compared to those supporting an inactive life.

The study also revealed that women who walked briskly cut their risk of hemorrhagic stroke by 68 percent and that of any type of stroke by 37 percent.

In addition, those who walked two or more hours every week had a 30 percent lower risk of any stroke and 57 percent lower risk for hemorrhagic stroke.

Further it was found that women who usually walked at a brisk pace were about 25 percent less likely to suffer an ischemic stroke while two or more hours of walking a week lowered the risk by 21 percent.

Sattelmair stated, "It was a bit surprising that vigorous activity wasn't associated with reduced stroke risk in this study. Walking was more popular compared to vigorous activity. They were doing it more often.

"Perhaps moderate intensity physical activity has more favorable benefits for reducing blood pressure, which is related to lowering the risk of stroke.”

"Physical activity, including regular walking, is an important modifiable behavior for stroke prevention," said Jacob R. Sattelmair, M.Sc., lead author and doctoral candidate in epidemiology at Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, Mass. "Physical activity is essential to promoting cardiovascular health and reducing risk of cardiovascular disease, and walking is one way of achieving physical activity."

"The exact relation between walking and stroke risk identified in this study is not directly generalizable to men," Sattelmair said. "In previous studies, the relation between walking and stroke risk among men has been inconsistent."

I started wearing the Mini Cradle two weeks ago and have noticed a significant improvement in stomach and back pain. It's the smartest I've ever spent!

The only reason I give it four stars (rather than five) is because I think the sizing recommendations are off. I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant, weigh 135 pounds at 5'6", and am wearing the size small belt. It fits, but I'm wearing it on the largest setting and still have indentations on my stomach when I take it off. I can't imagine that it would comfortably fit someone at the high end of the recommended weight range (136 - 180 lbs). I definitely recommend the product, but would suggest sizing up if you're not at the low end of a weight range.

I'm pregnant with twins and have been getting a lot of back pain and abdominal strain which I know will just keep getting more pronounced as I get bigger so I have been looking for a support garment. I borrowed one of the single-strap type supports you can get at Motherhood and I found that to be really uncomfortable - it was uncomfortable while I was sitting down, it didn't stay in place very well and rather than help with the pressure on my bladder, it made it feel worse. Clearly I needed something better.

I ordered this prenatal cradle and had a lot of relief immediately. It has seriously improved my lower and upper back pain and abdominal strain. I find it easier to lift and carry things and just getting up off the couch is easier.

The "adjustablility" of this model was one of the reasons I bought it and I have to say, its nothing to write home about (3 sets of hooks that are pretty widely spaced) but better than nothing. The company says this will fit 150 - 220 lbs. I am 156 lbs and found I have to wear it on the middle set of hooks to avoid uncomfortable compression but maybe thats just how I'm carrying.

All in all, I would say if you are getting big and don't have super-strong core muscles, this support can really help improve your pregnancy experience. I wish I hadn't waited to buy this - get it before you HAVE to have it and save yourself some pain.

It did nothing to relieve my pain. Turns out I have Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction, along with Vulvar Varicosities. Lucky me. If you can't roll over without severe pain, google SPD. I'm posting this because I wish someone else had before I bought this.

I'm rating this product based on fit. My weight and dress size were within the range suggested for a small, but I didn't feel like it fit right. I wished I got a medium. The bands around the hips folded over and were very uncomfortable. The bands over the bum kept riding up and giving me a super-wedgie. I also wish there had been some kind of directions on how to make it fit right. Like "You know you're wearing it right if..." It basically said, "put it on like panties and adjust the straps." Adjust them to what? Maybe that would have been apparent if my pain disappeared immediately.

At 22 weeks pregnant, I developed pain in my right hip and leg. The pain became worse as the weeks went by, and by 26 weeks, I almost couldn't walk normal anymore. After talking to my ob/gyn, she suggested I try a maternity support belt to relieve the pressure on my sciatic nerve. I read a number of reviews on Amazon, and finally decided to order two different belts, based on the good reviews each one received. While I was waiting for my belts to arrive from Amazon, I also went to Babies R Us and bought one there. Here are my reviews for each belt:

One of my choices from Amazon was the "Soft Form Maternity Support" belt ($ 33.99). As soon as it arrived, I took it out of the package and was a little turned off. The belt's color is a really dark brown, which I wasn't too thrilled with. When I tried it on, I noticed how thick the material is, which adds bulk underneath clothing. First, I put on the abdominal support pad, which really cradles your belly. Felt kind of nice. Then, I attached the belt and the upper tummy strap. I didn't like either one of these. The belt is split lengthwise into two panels across the back, which makes adjustments a little annoying, and it was rolling (or folding) down on top. The Velcro taps on the belt are wider than the abdominal pad, leaving parts of the Velcro sticking out either on top, where it scratches your stomach, or on the bottom, where it scratches your legs. The tummy strap is thick and scratchy. No matter how I adjusted it, I couldn't get comfortable in this thing. I hope I can return it for a refund.

My second choice from Amazon was the "Mother-to-be Maternity Support" belt ($ 31.98). As soon as it arrived, I tried it on and loved it. The abdominal support pad is soft and comfortable. The belt is made from strong material and really hugs your back, which feels great and supportive. The belt doesn't roll down or fold over and really keeps it shape. The Velcro taps fit perfectly on the abdominal pad and are flat against the belly. Even though it is a strong belt, it also feels soft and stretches with your movements. The tummy strap is a little thick, but still feels comfortable. Initially, the top and bottom edge of the belt are a little scratchy, but I imagine I can get used to that. It's a minor price to pay to be pain free once again. The edges might still soften up a little, as the belt gets broken in with repeated wear and washings. Also, the belt hugs the body so well, it doesn't show underneath my maternity clothes. The only negative thing I can see with this belt is the fact that the back panel doesn't have the little breathe strips like other belts. This might cause extra sweating during the summer, but I would still take the sweat over the pain.

At Babies R Us, I bought the "Especially for Mom Maternity Support" belt ($ 32.69). The nice thing about buying it at a store was that I was able to try it on before I bought it. Once I brought it home, I put it on right away. Everything about this belt is great. The materials are soft and comfortable. I'm wearing it on my bare skin for most of the day, and it doesn't irritate or scratch at all. It fits great, and the support is excellent for a soft, light-weight belt like this. The pain in my right hip and leg pretty much disappeared after wearing it for a short time. The belt has little breathe strips built in, so it is really easy to wear even in the summer. It keeps its shape without rolling or folding down. The belt fits very well and doesn't show underneath clothing. Overall, this is my favorite of the three belts. If you can get this at a store near you, I'd say buy it. If not, get the "Mother-to-be Maternity Support" belt from Amazon.

This product is just as described. I am 7 months pregnant, and I have been suffering for about 3 months of back pain, plus my hips are too loose and hurt, my belly was hurting quite a bit too, trying to carry the weight of my baby and there wasn't must I could do. I couldn't walk for more than a few blocks....(less than 10 at a time, and ten was a lot... just in a good day)

I've been wearing that belt for a week and a half, and most of the pain is gone. My back and hips feel a LOT better (not completely painless, but that's pregnancy...) and my belly doesn't hurt! I just went for a 3 miles walk (ok, it was a bit much, but 2 miles felt fine). And that's the longest (by far) that I have been able to walk since I was about 3-4 months pregnant!

I recommand this product to any woman who suffers like it did. I am so happy with it, and wish I had bought it sooner...

This is a great product for aching parts. This is my 3rd pregnancy and this time things started to ache. I avoided any maternity support until month 6 and finally gave in when I had pain sitting and (mostly) standing. Sure, this thing is a bit cumbersome and I wish the straps were more discrete, but it does the job! It sure is not attractive when on, but who cares?! You're pregnant! This product is easy to use and put on for one person. I bought this product due to my shoulders rolling forward in hopes that it would help me pull them back. It does put pressure on my shoulders, but due to the fit of the harness, my underarms were being rubbed uncomfortably. Alternatively, if I could hold my shoulders back the way I should, I don't thing there would be rubbing. Seems like it's a give and take.

This product works! I am on my feet for the majority of the day and I wear steel-toe boots which causes me to slouch. I have found over the years I slouch more and more which is painfull and very unattractive. I am a male that is physicaly fit in the USNAVY and slouching does not look good in uniform. This prduct works well under my uniform. It forces me to hold my shoulders back on my own. If I relax and start slouching I can feel the product and after a while starts to become uncomfortable. Once I realize this, I stand up straight. After a week of constant use it forces a habit of standing up straight. As a joke, I would like to think of this as my trainig bra for posture and a more dominate-confidant stance.

On another note, it will strengthen your back and relieve lower and mid back pain associated with improper posture.

I hope this is helpfull for men that don't think they need something like this.

This is one of my favourite lip balms. It really is a very basic one, but it's soothing if they are a little sore, and it really does put moisture back into dry lips. It's PABA free, and has a good sun block in it so it's great during summer time, but definately in winter when your lips might be dryer, it's a big help. It goes on smoothly and doesn't clump up which is great. The one thing I can't understand, is why it's so hard to find in drugstores because it's not discontinued, but just not in big supply.

Give it a go if you've been allergic to other brands or if you find other brands too heavy. This is so good and does a fantastic job. I really love this one.

Several people wrote reviews wondering if Preggie Pops were really worth the money and if a hard candy like Jolly Ranchers might do the same trick. I decided to run an experiment. During the height of my morning sickness, I compared Preggie Pops to Jolly Ranchers, Gobstoppers, and Lemonheads. The only thing that eased my nausea were the Preggie Pops. The other candies were so sugary that they ended up making me feel even more nauseous than when I started. My findings: Preggie Pops are definitely worth the money (and I have 3 more boxes being shipped to my house as we speak).

The only downside to these pops is that if you suck on several in a row, the roof of your mouth becomes raw.

My final thought about morning sickness is that you have to run some experiments to find what works for your body. My husband bought me acupressure bands (which many people rave about), and these did nothing for me but hurt my wrists. I also tried ginger flavored candy, which just made me sicker because I don't like the flavor of ginger to begin with. The only thing that I found to ease my sickness is Preggie Pops. But each person is different....keep trying different things until you find something that works for you!

These are by far the BEST thing for queasy tummies & morning sickness. I was asking friends to go to the grocery store for me until I tried these. One was just enought to make it through the whole store & I never had to worry about seeing food that would make me sick, and have to find the restroom. Whoever came up with these should receive a medal in my opinion. I'm not sure what makes them work, but I certainly was grateful for them & I will use them again on any future pregnancies. Picked these suckers up at Babies R Us. Tasty, but pricy.

There are seven flavors. Lemon, orange and raspberry are all sour. The zip really wakes up the senses and eases the tummy. And they're delish. They also reminded me to drink more lemonade (which was also helpful) and eat more oranges (again, helpful). In fact, sniffing orange peels is pretty appealing these days too.

As for the minty variety, the peppermint and spearment are mild but effective. I found mint drops to be essential during my first pregnancy, so I am enjoying these.

As for lavender and ginger, well, the lavender tastes better than it sounds. Your tongue tastes the sweet, and your nose breaths out the flowery scent. I much prefer spraying lavender aromatherapy spray on my hand and taking a wiff. Just as effective of chasing away nausea (at least temporarily) without the funky taste. It's not horrible; I'm just sitting here sucking it wishing it were peppermint.

The verdict isn't out for the ginger yet. I don't particularly care for ginger, so I'm guessing I'll either tolerate or hate this flavor. I certainly wish you could purchase sour-only or minty-only. I'd drop lavender and ginger in a heartbeat.

These pops have certainly generated pricesless ideas for easing morning sickness. They're great to have on hand, but the roof of your mouth can only handle so much sugar before it goes raw, so get creative with the flavors in other avenues. But definately give these suckers a try.

P.S. Preggy pops come in sour only, so I'm gonna try those next.

Some of the pops were weired flavors like lavender. The pop drops are only come in lemon orange and rasberry but those are really the best flavors. The Preggy pops work but then you have a stick hanging out of your mouth and you are attracting attention to yourself. And if you are around kids they want one. With the drops no one at work knew I had them and I could tell the kids they were medicine like cough drops and they were fine with it.
